Faulty Cooling Core Redux

I have a 26-foot Class C with an absorption refrigerator. I have just noticed a strong ammonia odor when I opened the freezer door with the refrigerator in the off position. I expect that this is NOT normal. Can you tell me what's wrong and what I am faced with?
Gary, (Carlsbad, CA)

Gary, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but unfortunately you have a leaking cooling unit. Please see my response to a similar question here .
