Another RV Electrical Question

What is a safe range of AC voltage (120 + -) for a 50-amp RV electrical system? John P., (Madison, MS)

Sheesh John, can you not be so wordy? (Actually, I love these "to the point" questions!) In my seminars I report that all experts agree that the proper AC voltage for any RV is 120-volts AC, + or – 10%. Any where between 107 and 132 volts AC. It makes no difference if the coach is configured for 30-amp or 50-amp service. It’s all 120-volts AC. The 50-amp coaches simply employ two separate legs of 120-volts AC each. That said, I'd be leery of plugging in at the extreme edges of this range, just to be extra safe.
